Our sources & standards

Credibility comes from being clear.

A practical project, with a visible foundation.

The Daily Table is a douphealth cooking and meal-planning project. It is published as a free tool on GearUpToFit. It adds 56 editorial kitchen ideas and brings the ingredient-first idea of Recipe Genie together with the 28 reference recipes and four-week rotation from Family Nutrition OS.

What was adapted

The recipe identities, measured ingredient lines and starting menus came from the public Family Nutrition OS source inspected on October 8, 2026. English directions were editorially adapted. The source applications are not modified by this project.

What is not claimed

These recipes are not independently kitchen-tested. Their preparation estimates are not guaranteed. We have no invented reviews, ratings, clinical credentials, nutrient figures or promises of health outcomes. The portion control multiplies quantities; it does not calculate personal energy needs.

Photography is serving inspiration

All 84 original recipe photographs are preserved with their photographer and licence credits. They are serving inspiration, not independently verified photographs of these exact recipes. Follow each recipe's listed ingredients and method; a photograph is not evidence of testing, quantities or allergy safety. New pantry-created recipes show their selected ingredients instead of borrowing a photograph of another dish.

Information that can be checked

Each recipe links to its source. Food-temperature guidance links to FoodSafety.gov. Photography credits and privacy boundaries are public.

A small, maintainable collection

The collection contains 84 recipes: 28 source-adapted recipes and 56 original editorial kitchen ideas. None are independently kitchen-tested. Changes to quantities, sources and cooking guidance should be reviewed by the maintainer before release. Content is not automatically rewritten or published.

Recipes from your selected foods

Eleven bounded kitchen templates can assemble additional recipes from supported, explicitly selected ingredients. They run locally without another AI request. Every edible ingredient is checked against the selected food IDs; water needed for cooking is disclosed. These are clearly identified kitchen recipes, not newly tested or professionally prescribed meals.

Sources, recipe records and safety boundaries

The 84 original recipe records are preserved. Meal categories, equipment tags and ingredient exclusions are derived from their lists and instructions. Recipe times remain source estimates, not independently tested preparation or total times. Photographs are serving inspiration and may show other ingredients; follow the written list.

There are no invented calorie values, professional credentials, recipe test results or review dates. User-written recipes and local kitchen templates are clearly distinguished from the source collection.

Allergen groups are ingredient exclusions, not product-label or cross-contact certification. Other individual allergies are possible; use the exact-food exclusions and professional advice where needed.

The provider name returned by the service is configuration, not a recognition benchmark. No numeric recognition accuracy is claimed without a labelled real-photo evaluation.
